With a voice who's beauty and power is matched only by the poignancy of her songwriting, Jenifer Jackson is one of the most remarkable singer-songwriters working today. We at shotmonster have been fans for years. If you're ever in Austin, TX or NYC when she's playing, do yourself a favor and go. We caught up with JJ at the Rockwood Music Hall on July 20. Not the best lit location, but still a joy to photograph under any circumstances. We hope to see her again next time she plays New York.
